Miniaturized Coplanar Waveguide-Fed UWB Antenna for Wireless Applications

This study presents a compact ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna fed by coplanar waveguide (CPW) with huge bandwidth for the demands of modern wireless communities. To overcome some technical limitations employed substrate and UWB design, slotted patch resonator was used to create simulate this based on Locked-Key topology. It has been printed 1.5 mm-thick FR4 dielectric constant 4.4. A feeder characteristic impedances 50 ? employed. CST electromagnetic simulator analyze design. is operated within spectrum 10.354 GHz, spanning 3.581 14 GHz. The overall surface area 27 × 25 mm2. gain maximum efficiency are better than 3 dBi 82%, respectively. fabricated, simulated results correlated measured ones. Finally, equivalent circuit models rectifier measured.
